A bicycle with a pedal or crank device and electric assist is counted as a cycle if it is constructed as follows:
The electric motor is switched on when the pressure on the pedals increases, for example to make it easier to step uphill and in strong headwinds. The engine must only amplify the power of the pedals and must not provide any power supply at speeds above 25 km / h. The engine’s continuous rated power may not exceed 250 watts.
Where to ride?
You should cycle on the right side of the roadway. If there is a bike path, you should normally use it. The same applies to two-wheel mopeds class II.
You may, if you are particularly careful, cycle on the roadway even though there is a bike path. This is subject to the fact that you have reached the age of 15 and that the speed limit on the roadway is not higher than 50 kilometers per hour. Otherwise, you can only use the roadway if it is more appropriate with regard to the location of the destination. The same applies to two-wheel mopeds class II.
If you want to read more about how to ride a bicycle, see section 3 of section 6 of the traffic regulation.
On a bicycle or a moped, several people must not simultaneously travel than the bicycle or the moped is built for.
However, when a bicycle or moped class II has appropriate seats and effective protection against the wheel arches, the vehicle may travel further
1. one child under the age of ten, if the driver of the vehicle has reached the age of fifteen, or
2. two children under the age of six, if the driver of the vehicle has turned eighteen.
SAs a lessee you are responsible for your own and others’ safety. You should check out your liability insurance for any accident or injury. The lessee is responsible for the bicycle and is liable for any damages or theft.
Different rules apply in different countries. We can help you go through which regulations apply in your city and country. A lot of information is available from your local municipality.
Simple and safe financing
At Lifestyle Bike Rental we also help with financing solutions.
Some of our customers choose to finance their purchases through leasing or renting. This makes municipalities as well as small and medium-sized businesses.
The reason for choosing Leasing & rent varies.
It may be that you do not want to charge your balance sheet with equipment that in turn affects the key figures. It may be because you do not want to burden the bank’s credit space, or because you consider that the purchases should be on the operating costs, just like the rent of the premises… or other reasons.
To buy, rent or lease products via Lifestyel Bike Rental:
If you do not want to own your container shop, renting or leasing is an excellent option! Choose the period for rent / lease within the range of 1-3 years that suits your company best!
There are many reasons for leasing / renting equipment:
• Access to equipment at a low monthly cost. The payment is made at the same rate as the revenue happens for rental and sale
• The rent / lease fee, which is normally deductible at 100%, is booked as an operating cost and thus does not charge the balance sheet. The company’s equity ratio remains unchanged!
• Leasing / renting gives increased financial freedom by freeing up capital, which can be used for other investments.
• A known monthly cost over time gives good control of the cash flow and simplifies the budget work.
We offer an affordable insurance for rented / leased equipment with a low deductible.
You are always equally welcome to us, whether you come from a large company or run a small business. Do not hesitate to contact us if you want help – or a concrete proposal with monthly cost.
